Personal Statement
For UCAS Applications
I am applying to this course because I enjoy and have a spirit for practical and effective ideas/creations.
In my experience and talking with many businesses they have all said one thing in common experience. Experience is the most important and I believe this, as it prepares you, allowing you to be more efficient.
I am eager to learn new things and make ideas come to life which is essentially the process of design, from the research to the creation. I also have a lot of experience in the workplace where I worked/volunteered and with my father as the Marketing Manager for his company. This is where I learned various skills like Logo Design, Graphic Design, and more.
In secondary I chose the IMedia course which consisted of various skill learning opportunities through the use of software like Photoshop Illustrator and other software for Graphic design as well as the basics of website design. In college, I enrolled in the 3D design course which related to the creative industry while also taking advantage of technology and digital design. I enjoy the hands-on creation processes from skill building to problem solving, although I
still want to be able to use and take advantage of technology.
I have a wide range of skills I have built over the past few years including General Computer Skills (eg. using Word, Powerpoint, Excel, etc. very efficiently) I gained these skills from working in a travel agency (Cloud Travel®) I completed almost all of the digital work-related to the company from the designing of simple posters to 4-page leaflets, to memorable and professional business cards and much more Graphics Design (Photoshop & Illustrator): I started to learn these design platforms during my time in Secondary in class and out using Photoshop to create many graphics, including the creation of many Posters, Leaflets, Business cards, and more for the travel agency. I have also created a few logos for certain projects including many companies. Website Design I started to experiment with website design in my IMedia course where we learned basic knowledge mostly tailored to the client's needs in laying out a website and fundamental design features, which I then continued in college.
I have managed almost all of my family business. This is a big responsibility as I am essentially the face and voice of the company to ensure the company is displayed correctly and professionally to the public.
One big achievement I am very proud of is my great advancements in martial arts I studied Karate when I was just 4 and have been training for over a decade now, with immense dedication, discipline, respect, and more. I have now just recently started my class in which I had to do a Teaching course from which I gained many skills and experiences some of which Include public speaking and talking in front of large crowds teaching classes.
I have work experience from an architecture company where I went for a week and learned the day-to-day tasks and processes in the architecture field. I had the chance to speak directly to many practicing architects from where I gathered a lot of insight into their real-life experiences in architecture. I also have experience with another company 'Community Brain'. During this experience, we used many skills to create a model including using Illustrator to program a laser cutter and using scale for a parade celebrating Mini Cooper.

The Mercedes-Benz star today is among the most recognized automobile signs globally, standing for quality and prestige.
The Mercedes-Benz logo is the culmination of the progress of the brand, its evolution, and its innovative spirit. It all started in 1902 when DMG registered the name "Mercedes," though no specific logo existed at the time. In 1909, the three-point star that was to become iconic was introduced, inspired using a star by founder Gottlieb Daimler to mark his home on a postcard. The star symbolized DMG's ambition to dominate transportation on land, sea, and air.
In 1926, DMG and Benz & Cie. finally came together to form Mercedes-Benz. Now, the logo had to house the three-pointed star of DMG and the laurel wreath of Benz, depicting the merger of two pioneering companies. This design showed from both their points of view the commitment to innovation and excellence within the automotive sector.
By 1933, the laurel wreath was gone, replaced by a simple, circular ring around the star clean, modern design that's essentially the same today. With subtle refinements over the years, the three-pointed star remains an instantly recognizable icon of luxury, precision engineering, and success timeless emblem representing one of the world's most prestigious automotive brands.

The company's logo has a rich history and is uniquely designed to reflect its vision for innovation and sustainability. Accordingly, the company's history started in 2003 by Martin Eberhard and Marc Tar penning, later Joined by Elon Musk, until today, parallels the sleek and stylized introduction of the T Even though this might seem basic, there is indeed meaning behind this.
The T in the Tesla logo forms the cross-section of an electric motor, with a specific reference to a pole piece in the rotor of the motor. This is a great way to hint at the company's focus on electric vehicle technology in a very clever way. This clean, futuristic design of the logo goes well with Tesla's mission to transform transportation using sustainable energy solutions.
Today, the Tesla logo is immediately recognizable, synonymous with innovation, technology, and even luxury. But more than cars, it represents Tesla's bigger ambitions in renewable energy-solar technology and energy storage systems cementing its status as a leader in the clean energy revolution.

The Apple logo is probably one of the most iconic logos in the world, symbolizing innovation, simplicity, and creativity. Its roots go back to 1976 when the company was founded by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne. The first logo was a highly detailed hand-drawn image of Isaac Newton sitting under an apple tree and was designed by Ronald Wayne. This complex design gave way very promptly to a much simpler, newer symbol reflecting the innovative glance of the company.
The famous bitten apple logo was designed in 1977 by a graphic designer named Rob Janoff. The bite was there so the apple wouldn't be confused with a cherry or some other round fruit, but it also was a playful pun on the word "byte," thus relating the logo to computing. Originally, the apple had rainbow stripes to represent Apple's commitment to color displays and, presumably, creativity. This colorful logo survived until 1998.
In 1998, Apple, under the Steve Jobs regime, moved to a monochromatic design that showed off a new axis for the company in sleek, minimalist aesthetics. Since then, subtle refinements have occurred on the present logo, but it has retained the essence. Today, the bitten Apple speaks of the most innovative technology, great design, and revolutionary spirit of Apple.

I was wondering how to make my logos I didn’t know if I should add shapes and make it stand out or just simple and basic. The Tesla and CR7 logos helped me a lot because it’s their initials and I wanted to use my initials in my logo (MSN). The design of the CR7 logo was inspired by its simplicity, boldness, and personal branding. Here’s how Simplicity with Impact The CR7 logo is clean and minimalist, yet it makes a strong statement. This shows that you don’t need complexity to make an impression. In your own life or work, it can inspire you to focus on clarity and purpose, ensuring your efforts are impactful without unnecessary over-complication. Boldness and Confidence The strong typography of the CR7 logo reflects confidence and ambition. It encourages you to present yourself boldly, believe in your abilities, and create a presence that stands out, whether in your personal style, projects, or communication.
